Opening of the GlassDrive Zaragoza Plaza Truck Service centre

Our vehicles are equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), which have proven to save lives. In addition, given the importance of windscreens, whenever they are replaced, it is compulsory to have them calibrated at a specialist centre such as our supplier GLASSDRIVE.

On Thursday, 12 December 2019, the new Glassdrive Zaragoza Plaza Truck Service centre was officially opened in the Zaragoza Plaza logistics park. Covering 1,000m2, the centre is located inside the largest industrial park in Zaragoza, which makes it ideal for many of the important transport companies in the area.

The opening took place with more than 150 guests, including representatives of all of Spain’s insurance companies, the leading transport companies in the region, in particular Marcotran, Carreras, Transportes SESE and COTRALI, among many others. Among the guests were also representatives of CesviMap, Centro Zaragoza and Saint-Gobain to lend their support to the project.

During the event, a presentation was given of the Truck Service project and a demonstration of calibration, given by Texa, the leading provider of HGV diagnostics. In addition diagnostics providers, there were also representatives of Sekurit, Glassdrive’s official glass supplier.

November had seen the reopening of Glassdrive CTM Madrid, a centre, which together with the one at Plaza Zaragoza is a part of the Truck Service project, dedicated to haulier services. Like Glassdrive Plaza, it is also located in a major industrial park.

For 2020, the target set by Glassdrive is to continue to increase the number of its Truck Service centres, eventually having all of its locations suitable to service HGVs under the Truck Service brand. The company currently has centres adapted to serve the transport sector in: Albacete, Alicante, Almería, Badajoz, Burgos, Barcelona, Cantabria, Castellón, Córdoba, Guadalajara, Gijón, Huelva, Irún, Jaén, León, Madrid, Murcia, Palma, Seville, Valencia, Valladolid, Vigo and Zaragoza.
